There is plenty of Cheap Land available around the world, some of it is available through real estate brokers, some of it is available on eBay.In Oct 08, an American woman purchased a house and land in Chicago fo $1.76 ! Yes, she had to pay back taxes and clean up the property, but it still cost her less than $1000.
There is also plenty of land that looks cheap at first brush, but isnt once you look at the taxes and charges involved - so be careful.
Make yourself familiar with the field, do lots of research, dont be afraid to ask questions and only spend what you can afford. And make sure you are aware of any liens or outgoings, as well as governement taxes, that relate to the property.
