Where can I find Cheap Land?
That depends firstly on what your interpretation of cheap is. If you only have a few thousand dollars to spend you will be surprised how many options there are still available. In the US, you can buy a half acre of land for less than $1,000 in some places. In Europe there are many opportunities to buy land for around the 1,000 Euro mark. In Australia there have been some sales over the past 12 months for less than $5,000 and in Central America there are also plenty of bargains.
All of this assumes you want to actually pay for your block of land. There have been instances in the US and Australia over the past few years where land has been given away by some towns in the hope to attract new residents.The deal is usually that you have to build within a year or two and then live there for a couple of years after which the property is yours. Not a bad deal if you arent tied down.

So dont despair, there is plenty of opportunity in this world of ours. Some land is very cheap, some land is available with cheap housing finance without going to the bank and some land is still a steal, even if it costs you $50,000- $100,000.
